Children's VTech E-Reader Product Review

To read or not to read that is the question? As a mother of a 4 year old boy I have always been interested in providing the most educational toys that can benefit my son's learning developement. Don't get me wrong you need to have a well rounded choice of "fun" toys as well as educational toys. I had first discovered this E-Reader a year ago this past Christmas. At that time we, as parents, were unsure if at age 3 if he could handle the technology portion of this product. Upon buying Christmas gifts this year I found myself looking at the V-Tech E-Reader again and this time it was on sale. On sale....bonus! When a mother is making a decision to purchase an item for her child that will help him to grow, learn and achieve greater potential, there are a lot of things to consider. So I purchased the E-Reader because it appeared to have a great educational benefit through audio reading, spelling games, word building blocks and story telling. Oh and don't let me forget to mention it was on sale!

Since the purchase of the V-Tech E-Reader my son has become more proficient in recognizing his letters, recognizing words and learning more subject matter, through the books we have selected for him. This product shows me that my son will not only learn the skills of a "computer" type device but it will help him to learn more about fictional and non-fictional learning, letter and word recognition, the start of spelling and how to follow along with the reader. I would definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, recommend this book to any parent who has a children in the age range of 4-7 to purchase this product. It was and is a great investment and best of all my son likes it so much that it is used on a daily basis. Happy Reading Everyone-
